About the Business
Started in 1930 by Valdemar Falkjar who brought with him from Denmark the craft of the traditional European Upholsters. After establishing himself in Saint John for 20 years he opened a shop located on Rothesay Road in the early 1950's. Here he built a reputation for the finest of quality workmanship and taught the skills of the traditional master
